I was saved at the age of nine. I was later baptized by Landmark MBC in Hope, AR. I have held numerous volunteer positions in the churches I have served including SS Superintendent, SS teacher, BTC Youth teacher, Youth Sponsor for Teen Discovery, and Youth Leader for Teen Discovery. I have also had the privilege of working with college-aged students as well and I very much enjoy this. I held those positions for many years while having a secular career. I ran from the call to preach for ten years, surrendered in 2017. Since that time, I have taken seminary classes through TBI as well as CBI and have served as Pastor of two churches. I served as Pastor of Holly Creek MBC in Broken Bow, OK for 2 ½ years before serving as Pastor of Hermleigh FBC in Hermleigh, TX for 4 years. Earlier this year I began to feel led by the Lord to serve more in the teen/college age group. MBSF is something that is very important to me as it played a huge part in my college life at Southern Arkansas University. In June of this year, I was called by Quaker Avenue Baptist Church in Lubbock, TX to come and serve as the MBSF Director for Texas Tech University (Raider MBSF), and I serve Quaker Avenue as the Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor as well. I am also currently enrolled in online classes at TBI. Life is very busy, but I have a great support system starting with my wife, Holli. It is such a blessing to have her working beside me. We have two sons, Michael, and Zachary, and they are always willing to help wherever needed as well. Most of all, none of these blessings would be possible without my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be all Honor and Glory.
